MemberHello…I don’t currently own a juicer…what options are available instead of the morning juice on the Week 1 eating plan? Cheers, Melissa PS if anyone wants to sell a secondhand juicer in good working order, let me know 🙂

MemberHi Melissa
This depends on your goal but the first 14 days is a reboot to clear the body of toxins so you can just have fresh frit and nuts. Basically search a juice in the library and snack on that till 12pm. In your case have some BCAA”s to preserve those tight muscles of yours. OR if your happy with your health juice a breakfast option like those under under the recipe library.
However go to david jones if you can and invest in a juicer for as little as $150 or ours is a phillips and has juiced everymorning for three years!!!! Plus it broke once and we got a new one!!!
This is a worthwhile investment you will be happier and healthier food.

MemberAfter buying morning juice at a CBD café all week (at $7.50 per day!) yesterday I bought a juicer. $99 sunbeam double sieve juicer from the Good Guys. I will test it out tomorrow!

InactiveHi – With regards to making the Juice – do we need to add water/Ice to it?
Thanks 🙂September 18, 2015 at 3:58 pm #11667Anonymous
InactiveId like to know what some suitable substitutes for the green juices are? I have tried my hardest so many times to stomach them but I just cant! Would fresh fruit and yoghurt be suitable?
ThanksSeptember 20, 2015 at 5:02 pm #11674kellythomas
MemberHayley, I add about 4 ice cubes to my juice as I like it cold and not quite so thick. I juice mine in my thermomix so everything goes in. Kelly

MemberHey UBB members! Yes definately add ice / water to your juice or blend – i use a Nutribullet and find if i blend it twice with water – it is alot easier to drink – when it is cold and lot lumpy!
I still use a straw through – i find it easier to drink with a straw!! Perhaps this will help?!
As for replacements, I will ask our nutrition team and check to see what other options there are – but try to remember – its only for this week – and getting the body we want – doesnt come easy – just try to focus on your goal while your drinking it – it will make it taste much nicer 🙂
